Building a Session Narration Habit
A short spoken narration of each completed candle trains judgment faster than silent scrolling.
Silent scrolling through charts feels productive and rarely is. Spoken narration forces you to commit to a reading before the next bar arrives.
At Lucid Helix Academy we use a fixed sentence frame: open relative to prior close, body size versus recent average, wick story, and location versus the nearest defended level. Students say it aloud even when alone.
Two minutes per completed hour is enough. The point is consistency across quiet and busy sessions so your language stays stable when emotion rises.
Record yourself once a week. Listen for hedging words—“maybe,” “sort of,” “kind of bullish.” Those hedges usually hide an unfinished observation about the wick or the level.
Over a month, narration shortens. That brevity is a sign the vocabulary has moved from textbook labels into working craft.
